1) How do I get from the airport to my apartment?
You can go direct to our office by a taxi or order a driver from us that will pick you up in the arrival terminal in the airport and take you direct to the apartment.

2) Do the apartment have all the equipment for kitchen/bathroom and bedroom?
Yes the apartment has what you need but of course the amenities depends also on the level of the apartment, a simple apartment is equipped simple.

3) Is it possible to wash clothes in the apartment?
You can wash by hand in the simpler apartments, some of the nice apartments have a wash machine (look at the link to the apartment because in the page you will see if it has).

4) When do I pay the rent?
Upon arrival you will need to pay both the rent and the security deposit for the belongings inside the apartment in cash, OBS the ordinary way to pay is to bring US$ or Euro, if there are any special way to pay it needs to be confirmed in advance (if it will be possible to do it in other ways).

5) Can I use fax/ computer in the apartment?
Depends on the apartment, but only the nicest apartments are equipped for to use fax!

6) Is it possible to use the Internet in the apartment?
Only the nicest apartments in their level have Internet access (look at the link to the apartment because in the page you will see if it has).

7) Is there a phone in the apartment?
No there is nearly never any phone in the apartment! (Look at the link to the apartment because in the page you will see if it has). Cellular phones can be rented!

8) Are there towels for shower/ to the beach and towels for the toilet in the apartment?
Yes three are towels in the apartment, how many towels and the quality depends on the level of the apartment (the nicest apartments has more towels and of better quality).

9) Are there sheets and pillow etc. in the apartment?
Yes there are always sheets and pillows in the apartment.

10) When do I get the key to my apartment?
When you check in either at the apartment or when someone brings you from our office to the apartment. The keys and full access is only after that we have received full rent (if there are no special agreements made for this).

11) Who cleans the apartment?
You will clean the apartment by yourself, if you would like you can order maid service. (Luxury apartments can have this included in the rent, see the page about the apartment).

12) What happens if I break anything under my time in the apartment?
If you cause the problem you will pay (we will deduct the expense from the security deposit). If the problem has nothing to do with you or your way to behave there will not be any charge (if there are something technical that gives up for an example).

13) What happens if I lose the key?
You will need to pay a new key, depending on the hour we will send someone to open your door (if it is in the middle of the night we will charge you for the work our staff need to do, try to hold on to your key).

14) Is there a Safe-box in the apartment?
There can be in the better-equipped apartments (in the simple apartments the owner never like to invest in this, see the page about the apartment).

15) Is there any food in the apartment when I arrive or do I have to buy this by myself?
No there is no food in the apartment, we nearly always have some bottled water in the fridge if you are thirsty when you arrive thought!

16) Is smoking allowed in the apartment?
Yes it is!

17) Are the apartments located near the center or the beach etc?
Usually it is see the page for more information on the location to the beach etc.

18) Have all the apartments furniture?
The most of the apartments we works with are totally finished for a tourist to stay in there. Sometimes we can rent out empty apartments but it is rare!

19) Can I order a wakeup-call?
No you can’t, bring your own clock!

20) Can I invite people to my apartment?
In the most of the cases you can, if there are a problem to have visitors to come and see you or join you back to the apartment you will be advised before! OBS we can’t disturb the neighbors after 10:00 o’clock PM, if we do that there can be a fine to pay (there are a new law against bad behavior in apartment buildings since Jan 1st 2003.

21) Can I bring my pet to the apartment?
In 98 % of the cases you are not allowed to do that!

22) Are there maps and suggestions on restaurants etc. in the apartment?
There is a map that gives you the information on what are close to your apartment in nearly all of the apartments we rents out today! There is also a lot of additional updated information about Rio in our "Welcome and information Kit". We wants you to start to enjoy Rio as soon as possible and not to spend a lot of time to sort out any other kind of hassles or searching for pharmacies, supermarkets etc.

23) Are the apartments available for disabled persons?
Some of them are, please tell us this in advance so we can check it up for you!

24) What happens if I get sick and have to break the contract before the end of the period?
In the most of the cases there are no refund, in very special cases there can be. If you don’t know for how long you will stay don’t make a reservation for a very long period!

25) What happens if I get sick or something before the trip?
In the most of the cases there are no refund, in very special cases there can be.

26) If I’m not satisfied with my apartment are there any guarantees so I get my money back or a new apartment?
This depends a lot on the owner etc. The rule is that you will not have any refund, but if you don’t receiving an apartment as that you were promised or that something is broken then of course we would need to compensate you or solve the problem in any other kind of way. In the future we want or clients to come back to us again, (maybe also their friends will be our clients) so in no way we would like them to feel cheated by us!

27) Can I rent a driver or a bodyguard?
Yes you can get additional service thru us, just tell us your special needs and we will try to help you with them. We have good contacts with professionals in many different areas in Rio/Brazil

28) If there’s a brake in, who stands for the costs?
You will need to get the police involved in this case, if you are responsible for the persons who make the theft or robbery you would need to take the costs. OBS there are nearly never any break-ins to apartments, but unfortunately there are people that aren’t careful with the new made friends here and they loose values because of this.

29) Is there any alarm system in the apartment?
No there aren’t, we don’t feel it is needed (if we think it will be needed in any special apartment we will put one there).

30) How much do the apartment cost per night?
The prices are very different depending on size, location and how the apartment is equipped. Please have a look at the examples of some of our apartments on the page and send us the link on that apartment that looks interesting for you and we will send you an answer if it is available and the price. 31) If I stay for a longer time can I have reduced price?
Yes you can get a discount when you stay longer periods, ask us for this kind of special long term discounts (for a month or longer periods).

32) How long before the trip do I have to book the apartment?
This depends a lot on for what period you are going to stay here, the longer in advance you are asking and would like to confirm your reservation the more options you have to choose from! Periods like the high season and specially New Year and Carnival are booked out early (at least the nice apartments).
